Redeeming Jacob brings us to Isaiah's Prophetic Book part One hundred and thirty-one. We have come a long way in the trekking alongside the prophecies of Isaiah. We have gone from warnings, prophecies, and judgment from the God of Jacob to not only the House of Israel. Prophecies went forth that even today affect a global people on this planet. Here, chastisement is healed by the Lords relieving the burdens, granting blessing and joy to his people. A people that no longer are at enmity with their God. The sun of glory and of God again shines it's blessing upon the people who are no longer captives.

Redeeming Jacob, the portion for #Israel here that has gone into captivity is ending their captivity in this #prophecy. The warnings of things that followed were reminders to Jacob to follow that which is life and blessing. The promises herein were followed by action that is historical today. #Cyrus brought down #Babylon, freed the #HouseofJacob held captive. He ordered them to rebuild #Jerusalem and the temple therein. Today we look at the #promise of #Redemption and the action taken therein. It will be a #relievedcaptivity when the #freedom is realized, the #templerebuilt, and #Jerusalem again inhabited and controlled by Israel. #RedeemingJacob
