mostra másImagine a paradigm shift that honors the importance of being over having. Our esteemed guest, Thomas Legrand, a Wisdom Seeker, Social Scientist, and Sustainability Practitioner, has contemplated precisely that.
With a prolific background encompassing a Ph.D. in Economics, research roles in international development and political science, and serving as a sustainability resource for UN agencies, Thomas has deeply analyzed and extensively researched the complex facets involved in reimagining humanity’s development model.
Join us as we discuss his groundbreaking book, “Politics of Being,” and how everything from the Environmental Crisis to Cultural Movements to Politics would transform with a wisdom-based approach.
Born 1979 in Paris, France, Thomas Legrand is a wisdom seeker, a social scientist, and a sustainability practitioner.
He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and has studied international development, political science, and management.
Thomas works in the field of sustainability for UN agencies, private companies, and NGOs. He focuses on forest conservation, climate change, sustainable finance, organizational transformation, and leadership.
His spiritual journey began at age 23 with an encounter with native spirituality in Mexico before embracing the wisdom of a wide range of traditions and practices, including meditation, energetic healing, and Tai-chi-chuan. He lives with his wife and their two young daughters near Plum Village, the monastery of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh in the Southwest of France.
