About Bob Sargent
Bob Sargent joined the 49ers as Sr. Manager of Broadcasting in May 2006. He is in his 17 seasons with the 49ers and sixth as Director of Broadcast Partnerships and served as the team's Director of Broadcasting & Sales for four seasons.
In his current role, Sargent is responsible for all broadcast contract negotiations with the 49er's local radio and television partners and servicing those rights agreements. He successfully negotiated unprecedented 10-year contracts with three major media partners: KNBR for radio rights, KPIX-TV for preseason television rights, and NBC Sports Bay Area for television shoulder programming rights during the season. He is also responsible for hiring and mentoring the team's broadcasters, Greg Papa & Tim Ryan, and managing the team's vast radio network of radio affiliates throughout the West.
As a native San Franciscan and professional broadcasting experience that spans over 30 years in the Bay Area, Bob also provides a unique strategic perspective on various issues and special projects for the President and other key executives of the team.

With over 25 years of experience in image consulting and public relations, Armstrong also teaches in the Fashion Department at City College of San Francisco. Moreover, she is the founder of the Primed & Prepped: A Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts Mentoring and Job Training Program at the Bayview Hunters Point YMCA. The program aims to help mitigate the barriers to employment for young males and females of color. She is also a former Board of Governors with the Recording Academy (Grammys).
