They call it “the sport of kings” because one of the first jockeys was a king! Yet horse racing has grown into a multi-billion-dollar industry enjoyed by millions all over the world.

My guest today is Rodney Nelson, marketing manager at Lone Star Park Grand Prairie. Rodney promotes major events and races at the track and is well connected in the horse racing industry. He is also a US army veteran and graduate of the University of Arizona Race Track Industry program.
