mostra másThe news of the day: As we continue to concentrate on ourselves, breath is a wonderful way to find focus. And maybe yesterday I didn’t put it in that perspective. To improve our focus, we need to bring our actions inward. We want to become more aware of what is happening to us during our classes and throughout our day. We don’t do that very often . . . just concentrate on ourselves. Our days are designed with us concentrating on others at our jobs, within our family and friends, how we care for our possessions. What a unique concept to think about ourselves. Give it a try. From the time you wake up in the morning, take the time to gently stretch and breathe before you get out of bed in the morning. Assess what you feel from side to side and head to toe. Continue while you are in the shower and as you drive to work. As your body begins its day, what do you feel? Achy, tight, great range of motion? Begin being mindful of you! You will begin connecting with some potentially startling perspectives on yourself. Who knew that was even possible!! As you slowly begin the process, you will find you more time throughout the day to concentrate on you. Breathe!
