Sharon was in an incredibly high pressure job. Day in and day out. 60 hours or more a week. It’s no wonder she started having panic attacks. She’d wake up, and she couldn’t catch her breath, her heart was racing, and she’d put my hand on the bedroom wall behind her to reassure herself that the world was still real. Sharon lived with that for about a year before she heard myself say, “If you have to do this for the rest of your life, you’d rather kill yourself.” Warning bells started going off in her head, and she realized she needed to make a change.
