Robert Bakke is a jet captain, a black belt, a NASCAR driver and was running a multi-million dollar company by the of 24. He’s also the author of the Amazon #1 Best-Seller, “Prayer at Full Throttle.” So what’s Bakke’s advice for people looking for a better life? “Stop complaining about the wealthy and start following their example.” Bakke says he has spent his life being told what can’t be done and is quick to point out, “Anything is possible in America, so dream bigger and get to work.”

According to Bakke, people need stop looking to be offended, and stop looking for handouts because it leads to defeat. “This is America,” says Bakke, “Don’t let anyone sell you on the idea that you can’t provide for yourself or that you’re a victim. It’s a pathetic, self-defeating message.” Bakke believes people should remember it’s the American flag that stands proudly on the surface of the moon. “Make no mistake,” says Bakke, “America is a land where all things are possible.”

Bakke doesn’t care if people get upset over his support for wealth and success. “Deep down, it’s what everyone wants for their families,” says Bakke, whose fearless tone comes from a lifetime of backing up what he says. “Wanting a beautiful home, a luxury automobile and taking over-the-top vacations with your family is nothing to ashamed of,” says Bakke, “It’s what you should expect from yourself. So instead of blaming the rich, try following their lead. Stop staring into your device and make your dreams real.”
