A Scottish man, John MacLennan, moved to Hong Kong because he really wanted to be on the Royal Hong Kong Police force. Once on the force, he had a special assignment to expose law enforcement officers and high ranking government officials as gay in 1980. Since back then, being gay was illegal. John would end up dead, declared a suicide...but evidence suggests otherwise.
