On the Thursday edition of the TPGS, Joe begins with some breaking news. Or is that tearing news? Rhys Hoskins tore his ACL, but Joe isn’t too worried about Hoskins out for the year because there are guys who can fill in Rhys’ place. Though the injury happened earlier in the day, Joe gives spitballs some names that could play first base this year, including someone you make not think of but might make sense!

The Saints are apparently named so for saving lives, or Joe thinks. First Jon Dorenbos’ life was saved though his career ended with a heart issue, but a physical by the Saints staff found that free agent Forest Moreau was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Joe once again reiterates his stance whenever there is a major illness or injury: who cares right now about sports, let’s worry about the quality of life.

Then Joe discusses “Enter Sandman” being banned (is that the right word?) by the NCAA when Virginia Tech hosted the first weekend of the Women’s NCAA Basketball Tourney. Turns out I’m still an amateur when it comes to streaming on No Filter, as you probably won’t hear the crowd at Virginia Tech having a sing-along while play goes on at Virginia Tech.

Then Joe discusses the Angel Hernandez call of the NBA, as Golden State and Dallas played on Wednesday night. Dallas thought the ref was correcting a call, but the ref was signaling that Dallas had called time out. But Golden State came back after the time out and scored an uncontested basket that led to chaos.

Then Gerald Contreras, another host on No Filter, joined me and we discussed the NBA and how crazy the west and how the Sixers may be the team in the East. We also discussed some horse racing and his show, as there are three big races on Saturday that he will have streams on No Filter on Saturday and Sunday looking at the final round of Kentucky Derby prep races. We also discussed some of the top horses right now as we are about 5 weeks away from the Kentucky Derby.

The show ends with some random thoughts as Joe also updated the games that were going on while the stream was live.
