Tendencies. What are they and why do we have them? The dictionary describes a tendency as “an inclination toward a particular characteristic or type of behavior.”
Most people have a tendency to avoid failure because of how it would make them feel, combined with how others will perceive them if they fail. Others have a tendency to lean towards behaviors that are more likely to help them succeed regardless of the latter.
We all can go either way depending on the situation and our tendencies. Which way do you think you lean more often?
