This exquisite pairing is not just about enjoying a drink and a smoke; it's about experiencing a moment of pure indulgence and luxury. So sit back, relax, and savor every sip and puff of Garrison Brothers Single Barrel Bourbon with Tatuaje Reserva Cojonu – you won't be disappointed. The Garrison Brothers Single Barrel Bourbon is known for its smooth and velvety texture, with hints of caramel, vanilla, and oak. Classification: Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey Origin: Garrison Brothers Distillery Location: Hye, TX Mashbill: 74% Corn 15% Wheat Malted Barley Proof: 94 (47% ABV) Age: NAS (Noted 4+Years) Visual: Dark maple syrup. Garrison Brothers Single Barrel Price: $110 Nose: Really nice oak spice, fruity especially stone fruits like plums and nectarines. Some menthol/eucalyptus sneaks in behind the fruit, with a mint in the retro. Smoky tobacco and a touch of proof. Palate: Leather and sweet herbs, oak, caramel and the eucalyptus sneak up again. There’s plenty of barrel char but enough vanilla to keep it honest. Nice medium-body, slightly syrupy palate with a good proof heat. Finish: Lots of mint on a long, coating sort of finish Overall: Overall, the mint note is a pretty strong and starts to dominate, but the heat is pretty solid for a 94 proofer and the vanilla keeps the bourbon front-of-mind. And now on to the Tatuaje Reserva Cojonu Country of Origin: Nicaragua Strength: Medium Full Size: 6.5 x 52 Wrapper: Ecuador Habano (Broadleaf Cojonu) Binder: Nicaragua Filler: Nicaragua Nose: The dark wrapper delivers woody notes with coffee and dark chocolate, while on the foot there's a scent of cocoa, wood and hay. Cold Draw: more of the same: coffee, cocoa, oak wood, and spice.
