In the light of the death of George Floyd and fiasco of the trial for his murder. Yet another black man is killed by another rouge police officer.
It's a miscarriage of justice to see that domestic white terrorist shooters make it to the police station without incident. At times these are the same police officers that kill our black men and boys. The pattern is always the same and the words used by the officers,
"I was in fear for my life." The excuses vary too. What is said, "I thought there was a gun."
"I saw a knife." At times there isn't such a weapon to be found. However the new excuse is,
"I THOUGHT I WAS REACHING FOR MY TASER."
The Bible says there is nothing new under the sun. We've seen this in the Botham Jean case. The cop went to the wrong apartment in this instance and thought Jean was in her apartment. She shot him dead. The value of black life isn't seen through the eyes of the police nor can we expect them to see it.
This episode ends season 2.
