I'll preface this by I love the champ and L1 and thoughly enjoyed Thusdays on Sky. A TV deal is either to showcase the sport or generate revenue. How many people will take out another subscription just for this? . This will do neither. Better option would be to give it to a terrestrial channel for free for a couple of years. Given ch5 have just lost their RU coverage. Premier will only attract a proportion of existing fans. Just feels like someone at the RFL can now boast " I got a TV deal , not just Pizzas"

The Shield final was great . In Parky and RSW we have found the new Eddie and Stevo.

Good Game .Great for Cumbria in the champ in 2022. Really enjoyed L1 this year. All the best to Donny Hunslet Coventry and Crusaders in 2022. John Helm the commenator ? a blast from the past.

Tolouse are a good club, good corporate ,links with RU , the town council. They also have a good academy and elite 1 feeder sides. They have been patient and served their apprenticeship in the championship and L1. They have earned their spot. Interesting to see some quotes from club owners who don't want to be named now sneering about their value to the comp and away fans. They will need to sign. I hope they go well but I would like to see someone bounce Gigot if he goes around again.

Toulouse were always in control of that game. Fev fought well and never gave up . Jussaume will have the best tash in super league to rival Wlamesleys movember one ! Will toulouse have the funding to recruit ( and who will they get) in the off season ?

The issue I have with refing in general is why Refs are given the latitude to ref a final completely differently to other games. Is this the refs own decision or an instruction from elsewhere ? Inc the NRL in this , why the last 10 mins of a final is refed differently to the rest of the game. Its a simple game with simple rules , the same rules regardles of the match ? Min 1 should be refed the same as min 80.

Tommy was the only high tackle to get a card, and he hit the body first. I thnk matautia was a provoked retaliation and has got a game ban

Great win. KenN rightly man of the match. Thought Batchelor was surperb the pick of the rest after KevN. I have been critical of Lomax but credit on his performance. His most influential perfomance in a big game that I can remember. The ability to come back after going behind was noteworthy in grave danger of having a plan B.

great evening. Close game, and would have been easier if we had managed to put on some more points in a dominant first half. catalan tackled well and I think it was the best two defences on show. Pleased to see Ctalan bring quite a few supporters , but dont think they would manage to fill their half with the travel involved.
