The second is a case against a large hospital in Los Angeles, California by a gay refugee who was sexually assaulted while in the hospital’s care by an employee. The refugee had fled his native country after being persecuted for his sexual orientation and having to suffer severe sexual abuse by his own family as punishment for being gay. Having worked directly on both cases, Tina walks you thru the facts of both cases and what it took to win verdicts for both victims, who in a way were both underdogs.
