Soy tu hermano y amigo Eduardo Rodríguez.

September 13: Clothed in linen for the weddings.
Revelation 19:6-16:
And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.” And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called FAITHFUL AND TRUE, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
This vision of the apostle John is one of the most glorious scenes that will occur very soon: John looks at the Lord fulfilling what He said, that He would come visibly to earth a second time. But He would no longer come weak, limited as a mortal man; He will come in all His magnificence, clothed in glory and power. The Lord will come with His heavenly army to execute His judgment, fighting against the inhabitants influenced by Satan through the false prophet and the beast. According to some theologians this is the war that will be fought in the battle of Armageddon where all eyes will see the Lord and will recognize that He is the King of kings and Lord of lords.
But before the glorious manifestation of the Lord mounted on a white horse, let's note the qualities of those who will be at the wedding of the Lamb, which will be a celebration where the Lord will comfort and reward all those who were faithful to Him and where Jesus will join the church. They will wear white garments of fine linen, clean and bright. Notice the kind of this linen that is not a common one, but fine, that is, of high quality and high price; it is also clean without any stain or wrinkle, it will be resplendent. Here we can read the interpretation of what those garments represent, which are the righteous works of the saints who received the Word of God, who were washed with the blood of the Lamb and were filled with the Holy Spirit.
How nice to know that whatever we do or whatever attitude we reflect will be the garments that cover us and make us worthy of being at the marriage of the Lamb!
Not only is it enough to accept the steps of faith to obtain the salvation of our souls, it is also necessary to clothe our souls. Clothe yourself in acts of charity, helping the needy; clothe yourself with acts of mercy, being compassionate and tolerant with the brothers and sisters in Christ and with non-believers; clothe yourself of justice when you suffer attacks and mistreatment; clothe yourself of meekness in the midst of an arrogant world; clothe yourself of holiness in an impure and promiscuous society; clothe yourself with the armor of God to defeat all the attacks of the adversary.
I wish that all who are listening to this devotional are in the great day before the Lord without any shame for nudity, but rather happy and in love with the Lord of lords and King of kings who loved us and walked with us here on earth and who prepared us to be with Him at the marriage of the Lamb, celebrated in heaven.
Consider this:
If the Lord came today, would He find you naked or poorly dressed?
I am your brother and friend Eduardo Rodríguez. May the Lord hear your prayer and keep you clean and pure for that great celebration.
