What is #GivingTuesday?
#GivingTuesday, Dec. 2, is a global day dedicated to giving back. Now in its third year, #GivingTuesday is a day for families, businesses, community centers, students and others to celebrate generosity and give. It is a simple idea. Find a way - any way - to give back.

Powered by SHARE Charlotte, #GivingTuesdayCLT is the local #GivingTuesday movement. It is an amazing collaboration of more than 60 Charlotte nonprofits working together for the greater good.

The #GivingTuesdayCLT campaign kicks off Nov. 11 encouraging community members to participate on Dec. 2.

Get Involved!
Participating in #GivingTuesdayCLT is easy. On Dec. 2, simply visit www.GivingTuesdayCLT.org and choose what type of gift you would like to give to your community. Are you moved to give funds? Great! You can make a donation directly to the nonprofit of your choice. Would you like a hands-on approach? Pledge the number of hours you will volunteer in 2015.
