In this episode, Dave talks about how forest fires could have been prevented. Why haven’t we done that? If we had started back in 1970, wouldn’t you think we’d have the forest fire situation dowsed 50 years later? A nationwide system of pipes and water manipulation would have been a hundred, if not a thousand, times cheaper than if we started now in 2020. Consider the millions, or probably billions, of dollars saved in resources such as livestock, produce, housing and people. We could have been proactive when it counted. Life could have been simpler had we considered this option back in the early 70’s.
