Join us and a Special Guest from University of Kansas - Audio Reader on The Vision Mission to talk about the mission of Audio Reader and the work they are doing in our community!
Audio Reader is an audio information service for individuals who are blind, visually impaired, or print disabled, throughout Kansas and western Missouri. They provide accessible audio versions of newspapers, magazines and books on the air, over the internet, by telephone and via Smart Speakers, 24 hours a day. Services are free of charge to anyone who is unable to read standard printed material.
Learn more about their work and how technology and traditional ways of education, such as braille, work together to provide individuals with equal opportunities to get involved, gain independence and share meaningful experiences!
