This Week! "Being an Autistic Student: Celebrating National Autism Week" (27th March-2nd April)

Did you know Government prevalence surveys last estimated that around one in 100 people are autistic, which means more than 700,000 people in the UK fall under the autistic spectrum.

We speak to student Abi Lewis. Abi is a first-year student children’s nurse. She is also an autistic person. We talk about her diagnosis story, what autism is, some of the common traits, cross overs with ADHD, her personal experiences and how we are working to improve University life for neurodiverse students and staff!
