That isn’t easy when the team is in Phoenix, which is known as a “paper town” where tickets have notoriously been available to fans without paying for them. Santiago talks about that challenge as the Coyotes have greatly reduced the amount of free tickets per game offered, and some of the methodology behind advertising in general. Santiago discusses the NHL ownership issue, factors in trying to attract new fans to the Phoenix product, and how the entire Coyotes organization has started to gain in-roads in the Arizona marketplace with some challenges still lying ahead.
