Swift has been shown frequently during the Chiefs' most recent two games against the Chicago Bears and New York Jets. The NFL has seen ticket prices and television ratings go up for the couple of games.
The NFL has defended its coverage of Swift and Kelce as a "pop cultural moment". However, some have said that the NFL is "overdoing" the promotion of Swift.
The New York Post's Page Six reported that Swift reportedly jetted off to possibly Kansas City to celebrate Kelce's birthday with him. That report has not been confirmed and there have been no reported sightings of her in town as of midmorning Thursday.
