ITVT is pleased to present another episode of “Televisionation,” our new video/audio podcast exploring the advanced/interactive-TV industry in the Coronavirus/Covid-19 Era.

This episode features Larry Thaler, CEO of The Video Call Center (VCC), a company that specializes in handling large numbers of IP video remotes-by-smartphone and putting them on the air via caller-acquisition technology, workflow and assistive automation.

Among other things, Thaler discusses The VCC’s technologies and business relationships (partners and clients include MSG Networks, TLC, WWE, MLB, Vice, A+E and others); discusses how its technologies are being used to enhance news, sports and other kinds of programming; and explains how those technologies can help broadcasters and other content providers continue to produce programming during the Coronavirus lockdown.

(Note: If you would like to share your thoughts on how the Coronavirus/Covid-19 crisis will change the TV and advertising industries, and tell us what your company—or you yourself—are doing to prepare for this new reality, please contact us at tracyswedlow@gmail.com(link sends e-mail).)
