The 1875 Podcast is back for another edition.

Tom Schofield sits down with former Head of Youth Coaching, Reserve Team Manager, Caretaker Manager and First Team Manager Gary Bowyer.

The duo discuss Gary's playing career before discussing his path into coaching. including time with Derby County.

His time at Rovers comes under the spotlight, starting with his time as Head of Youth Coaching, reaching the FA Youth Cup semi-finals and developing the likes of Phil Jones and Grant Hanley, before moving onto his time as reserve team manager.

The conversation then moves onto his time as caretaker manager and then his stint as manager at Rovers. Bowyer discusses his two consecutive top ten finishes, the FA Cup journey that ended with the replay with Liverpool, Josh King, Jordan Rhodes, missing out on the play-offs, his sacking plus a lot more.

Bowyer then finishes with discussion about his time at Blackpool and Bradford, his hopes for the future and Tony Mowbray's work at Ewood.
