March 23rd marked World TB Day and the theme for this year is “'Yes! We can end TB!'. It aims to inspire hope and encourage high-level leadership, increased investments, faster uptake of new WHO recommendations, adoption of innovations, accelerated action, and multisectoral collaboration to combat the TB epidemic.

He is the Chief Executive Officer of Humana People to People India (HPPI) and has been associated with HPPI for the last 18 years, as a Programme Director and then Chief Functionary. Since he began working with HPPI, the organisation has expanded from a small base to a 4000 people strong organisation reaching 2.8 million people over 100 locations today across 16 States with over 80 partners.
He has spearheaded HPPI's programs under the PPP (Public Private Partnership Model) in Education with the vision to empower the knowledge base of the public schools and teacher training institutes
