The Patriot, a group of respected Nigerians including former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, has issued a call for a new constitution—one that is genuinely representative of and responsive to the needs and aspirations of the Nigerian people. This call was made during a scheduled visit to President Bola Tinubu.
Part of their demands include the establishment of a constituent assembly elected through a transparent and inclusive process, with at least three Representatives from each state.
