En: Many believed that Magnus, the local artist, had something to do with it.

En: His peculiar behavior and reclusive lifestyle made him a natural suspect.

Nb: Men Sindre visste hvordan det føltes å bli mistenkt uten grunn.
En: But Sindre knew how it felt to be accused without reason.

En: Maybe there was a connection that could lead them to the answer.

En: Sindre decided to investigate more closely at night.

En: He snuck around the park, among the sculptures, searching for clues.

En: Then, one night, he discovered a shadow moving cautiously near the spot where "The Meeting" once stood.

Nb: Det var Magnus.
En: It was Magnus.

Nb: Han hadde skulpturen.
En: He had the sculpture.

Nb: "Hvorfor har du den?"
En: "Why do you have it?"

Nb: spurte Sindre forsiktig.

En: Magnus looked up, surprised but not angry.

En: "I took it to repair it," he said calmly.

Nb: "Det var en sprekk.
En: "There was a crack.

Nb: Om det fikk gå nedenom, ville det vært tapt for alltid."
En: If it had been left to deteriorate, it would have been lost forever."

En: Astrid, who had followed Sindre, appeared next to him.

En: "We need to tell the authorities," she said.

Nb: Magnus nikket.
En: Magnus nodded.

Nb: "Jeg forstår.
En: "I understand.

Nb: Men jeg ønsket bare å bevare kunsten."
En: But I just wanted to preserve the art."

Nb: Dagen etter ble skulpturen returnert.
En: The next day, the sculpture was returned.

En: Astrid gained the experience she needed and understood the value of community and curiosity over personal fame.

En: Sindre finally felt understood and could leave his past behind.
