Jennifer Corbin was found dead in bed with a gun next to her, the scene resembling a suicide, but the subsequent investigation revealed a surprising connection to a case from 14 years earlier.At 7:30 a.m. on December 4, 2004, a 911 coordinator received a call from a neighbor reporting that 33-year-old Jennifer Corbin had been shot. Upon arriving at the home in Buford, Georgia, authorities found Jennifer lying on the bed in the master bedroom with a revolver beside her.The estimated time of death was between midnight and 3 a.m. On the nightstand was a bottle of liquor next to divorce papers. Jennifer and her husband, 40-year-old dentist Bart Corbin, had been separated due to numerous conflicts in their eight-year marriage. Bart had recently filed for divorce and was seeking to reclaim the house, along with custody of their two sons and child support.
