They discuss how Maria is able to bring God’s word into her counselling sessions, what are some of the main reasons primary aged children come and see her, why counsellors are vital in a school environment, whether counselling in school is different to counselling outside of school, and have the rates of stress and anxiety increased at school.

Maria is the director and founder of the Friendship Centre and has over 13000 hours counselling experience. And the gift that you offer through the centre is free counselling sessions. She currently is an on campus Counsellor at Australian Christian College Marsden Park.

Maria Sarina is part of the Australian Counselling Association College of Supervisors and is qualified to run both individual and group supervision sessions. She’s registered with ACA, ACCA, CCAA and American Counselors Association. She is also a qualified Supervisor for ACA.
