Welcome to the third episode on the “Kelli Christina Show: Thought leaders of our American Industries.” I would like to thank Jeff Crilly and his Dallas studio for assisting and making this show come to life this year.

These episodes are dedicated to some other amazing names and leaders from various industries. It’s an opportunity to interview leaders on their careers, goals, challenges, ideas, and passions. We will be pulling back the curtain to interview some extremely talented bosses, coaches and leaders that truly make a positive difference with their teams, operations, and communities.

It was an honor and privilege to interview Jeff Barker, the Director of Operations for Chamberlain's Steak and Fish in Dallas, Texas. Jeff has worked 51 years in the restaurant and hospitality industry. His name is known as a restaurant lobbyist for the industry for many years and he is the prior President of the GDRA (Restaurant Association). I admire his leadership, dedication, and hard work throughout the years. Can you believe he started work at 12 years old?

I enjoyed this exclusive interview while we discussed the challenges and responsibilities that revolve around running restaurant operations and ensuring guests are coming back year after year. Jeff Barker is a partner with Celebrity Chef Richard Chamberlain. They are a highly awarded top Dallas steakhouse founded in 1993 and restaurant concept with an amazing culture for their employees and long-term guests. Chamberlain's Steak and Fish are known to be involved with charities and organizations that support local communities “while making a true difference” for decades. Chamberlain's Steak and Fish was named one of this country’s top new restaurants by Bon Appetit magazine and is currently ranked as one of the Best Steak Houses in America. Their excellent food, service and style will always WIN awards.
