If you’ve listened to this show before, you’ve heard the moment that BB-N8 asked Rian Johnson a question that changed Star Wars Canon forever. But that one moment is only a fraction of the story. This week, BB-N8 and Samuel the Hutt join me to look at all of the amazing twists and turns in what we call “The Legend of Terbus the Porg.”
You already know the basics of the story: we get invited to IMAX HQ to watch The Last Jedi followed with a Q&A by Rian Johnson. BB-N8 works up the nerve to ask Rian about the name of the porg on the Millennium Falcon. Rian turns the question around on him. Nate answer with “Terbus.” And almost 2 years later Terbus is in an official Star Wars comic book series. But there are so many more moments and challenges and highs and lows that you’ve probably never heard about. In the immortal words of Lando Calrissian: “Buckle up, baby!”
