His case went to trial in 2019, and in December of that year, he was found guilty of conspiracy and obstruction of justice.
Christoper McPartland, the former top anti corruption prosecutor in Suffolk county was also tangled up in the mess and found himself in prison as well.
Both men had appealed their sentences and both men have now had their appeals denied.
