Shared a great conversation with Rob Barnett the other day. His new book is Next Job Best Job. A headhunter. A leader. A bulldozer that moves mountains in your name and image. We talked about our presence on LinkedIn. I tend to talk openly about spiritual thoughts, ideas and personal growth with the “G” man and the universe. On that business platform, is it bringing harm to the image projected toward future decision makers? His response, “You can have 38 people read the post. Only one will support you.” This thought coincides with a single sentence that arrived in my heart during meditation or prayer this morning. The most unpredictable steps. I say that on this side of Covid 19. The most unpredictable steps. Aren’t they all unpredictable? I believe a willingness to step is the art of reaching. To achieve. To build upon. Braving the odds of taking any step doesn’t guarantee success or failure. A step can be the weight of your body creating a footprint. It can also be a thought moving beyond your creation in any direction and or decision. The most unpredictable steps. Forward motion brings with it emotion. Awareness cannot survive without taking any kind of unpredictable step. What did the sky look like when you first stepped outside this morning? What did the collection of birds sound like? Name three things that greatest you that weren’t connected to another person. In all things present there is art the truer celebration of life. What steps are you stopping yourself from taking? Trust the unpredictable.
