In this episode Mari sits down to talk to nutritionist Kristine Oddvin Andersen about biological norm. What is it, and what benefits are there to living closer to it than we currently are in the western world?
Kristine works as a nutritionist and health educator. Her goal is to raise awareness around issues concerning holistic health, natural lifestyle choices and to motivate modern day humans to become conscious of our biological norm. She believes today´s epidemic of chronic illness is a result of people not living according to this norm, which craves minimally processed foods, a moving body, contact with nature´s elements, toxin free environments, supportive communities, and attachment parenting approaches.
Her personal health journey began in 2012 after experiencing a missed abortion. This made her ask questions and start looking for answers concerning women´s health and the health care system in general.
She is a certified nutritionist, a graphic designer and holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Kristine lives in Oslo, Norway with her husband and daughter.
