Yesterday was Back to School. Although technically niot, it is The end of Summer and considered the start of Fall. New year. New ideas. And Back to school.

Looking back on the summer, there were many controversies. Including one in Ontario. Where the new Ontario Government announced they would take the sex curriculum back to…..

A search engine named Google was founded.

Bill Clinton denies he had "sexual relations" with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

Crimp hairs and Jelly Shoes were the fashion.

The 4 biggest movies were Armaggedon, Saving Private Ryan, Godzilla, and There’s Something About Mary.

Yes the Canadian Hit One Week from the Barenaked Ladies came out.

Now just like none of these are relevant, many are concerned about taking a sex curriculum back to 1998 seems short sighted. Including some current kids now. Here are some kids the Globe and Mail talked too.

Of course, Ontario Teachers have also expressed their concern. The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario is taking the Ford Government to court saying it is infringing on the rights of teachers and students.

ETFO President Sam Hammond. “Yes it seems homophobic in a way, yes it’s trying to eliminate key aspects of the society we live in: gender identities, trans gender individuals, same sex marriage.

But what about the state of sex ed. Is there a concern only in Ontario, or is there work to do across the Country?
