As the fallout from the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank continues to spread it's becoming more and more obvious that there are serious issues within the financial sector. Those issues bubbled to the surface recently as the 16th largest bank in the nation went belly up.
The FDIC and Treasury however have decided to step up and insure the deposits made into the bank that are over 250k which is the regular limit that FDIC protection guarantees. Some are calling it the right move, while others have their doubts.
