Timothy Haslett Jr. from Kansas City is facing new charges, adding to the already serious accusations against him. Initially, Haslett was arrested in October 2022 for allegedly kidnapping, raping, and holding a 22-year-old woman captive in his basement for over a month. The woman, identified as T.J. in police reports, managed to escape and seek help from a nearby residence.

Recently, a grand jury has brought additional charges against Haslett, including first-degree rape, second-degree assault, and first-degree kidnapping. The new charges come after further investigation revealed more evidence of his alleged crimes. Additionally, Haslett is accused of sodomy and endangering the welfare of a child, as more details about his conduct emerged during the investigation.  





Complicating the case, a potential witness, Jaynie Crosdale, was found dead earlier this year. Authorities had been seeking her in connection to the case against Haslett. Her death raised further concerns about how the case and related investigations are being handled​.    

In the lastest development, he has now been charged with Jaynie's death.

Diana Cojocari, the mother of missing North Carolina girl Madalina Cojocari, has recently become a suspect in her daughter's disappearance. Madalina was last seen on November 21, 2022, but was not reported missing until December 15, 2022. Diana Cojocari was arrested for failing to report her daughter's disappearance and recently pleaded guilty to the charge.

Now, shortly after being named as a suspect in her daughters disappearance, it is being reported that she has fled the country.
