Chad Daybell is an American author and religious leader who gained national attention in 2020 due to his involvement in a high-profile criminal case. Prior to the case, Daybell was known for his religious beliefs and self-published books about near-death experiences, the end of the world, and his interpretation of religious scripture.

In 2020, Daybell's second wife, Tammy Daybell, died under suspicious circumstances, and he quickly married his former student and frequent collaborator, Lori Vallow. Vallow's two children were reported missing, and a multi-state investigation was launched to locate them. In June 2020, the children's remains were found on Daybell's property, and both Daybell and Vallow were arrested and charged with multiple counts of conspiracy to commit murder and other crimes related to the children's disappearance.

in this episode we get an update on the feelings around the town of Rexburg now that Lori Vallow is on trial and what community thinks about the upcoming trial of Chad Daybell.
