Quarantine didn't stop Tom DeLonge from rushing down to the beach Tuesday night (March 31) after a friend spotted a UAP (unidentified aerial phenomenon) off the coast near the Angels & Airwaves frontman's house.

After studying it from his balcony, DeLonge and his girlfriend Marie hopped in the car and headed down to the abandoned beach, where they gazed at the sky for hours. DeLonge was able to catch some footage of the bright light in the dark sky and shared it with his Instagram followers, along with a detailed description of what he saw.

"So last night I get a text from somebody that there was a UAP right off of the beach where I live," he explained. "I ran to my balcony and saw it split into two pieces and raise vertically. I grabbed Marie, jumped in my truck and went straight down to the beach. We were the only ones on the beach last night as this light disappeared, reappeared, broke into three pieces and stacked vertically with one little red dot flying around the top and then disappeared for the rest of the evening."

"This video doesn’t show much, but we were up quite late watching the light dance about a half a mile to a mile off of the beach," he continued. "It was huge, and it was fiery orange. Of course I called up Lue Elizondo as I was there, and he was telling me all of these things I was supposed to do with location, geographic details, weather, altitude and distance etc. Of course, I was completely worthless when it came to those details. But yes, big deal last night in Encinitas, CA. Lue checked immediately, there were no flights in the area except one that I had my eyes on the entire time. No military, no boats, and a bunch of hovering lights that were stacking on top of each other... wild. Who knows..."

Coronavirus and tech tycoon Elon Musk have been blamed for a record number of UFO sightings in Belgium.

There were 87 reports of potential alien spaceships in March in Belgium, most of them in Dutch-speaking Flanders, and 188 in the first three months of the year.

From March 28 to April 1, more than 50 Belgians in Flanders reported a row of moving lights flying from west to east

Frederick Delaere, the coordinator of the Belgian UFO Reporting Centre, said Belgium’s imposition of lockdown measures to fight the coronavirus was likely to be responsible.

“We suspect that the clear weather of the past few days and the Covid-19 measures have caused this strong increase,” he told the Telegraph.

Viewers have suggested the mystery lights could be anything from alien UFOs to Elon Musk's Starlink satellites

A line of unusual lights has been spotted hovering in the night sky, with witnesses from both the US and Mexico claiming to have seen them.

Several witnesses have shared their videos online from the sight on March 31.

One video, posted to the Mutual UFO Network, shows four orbs appearing to change colour above Laguna Beach in California.

Another light then appears as the objects hovering in a perfect line.

Some 80 miles down the coast, another video emerged of the same sight over San Diego.

Again, the lights seemed to hover in a straight line before slowly disappearing one by one.

But it wasn’t just Californian residents that spotted the lights. Another 40 miles south of San Diego, in the Mexican city of Playas de Tijuana, a third video emerged of seven mysterious objects hovering in the same formation.

The collection of videos were shared online by YouTube conspiracy channel The Hidden Underbelly.

He wrote: “These lights seem to appear out of nowhere and were visible for about 15mins before disappearing one by one, leaving the witnesses puzzled and entertained by the aerial display performed by these orbs.”

An eyewitness from Texas reported seeing a strange object flying over his car while he was driving. According to a UFO expert, the object could be an alien vessel that visited the area.

The UFO sighting occurred on March 31 at Fairview, Texas. According to the eyewitness, he was driving along the area when he decided to take photos of the clouds from inside his car.

At the time when he took the photo, he did not notice anything strange in the sky. However, after uploading his photos to his social media account, he noticed a strange object flying in front of the clouds.

“The UFO was in my picture of the sky,” the eyewitness stated. “I took two pictures of the clouds seconds apart. Clouds looked odd. In the first picture the UFO is clear. 2nd photo snapped immediately after does not show it.”

“Time stamped 5:41 pm on both pictures,” he continued. “It looks like a black Millennium Falcon. I did not notice it in the picture until I posted it on Instagram. It’s definitely not something on windshield or camera lens. It would have been on both.”

After viewing the photos, Scott Waring of ET Data Base noted that the strange flying object could be an alien vessel that was visiting the area. It could be a probe ship that was observing the activities of humans.
