Menchito is the nickname of Rubén Oseguera González, a prominent figure in the world of organized crime in Mexico. He is the son of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, also known as "El Mencho," the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), one of Mexico's most powerful and dangerous drug trafficking organizations.Menchito became a high-ranking member of the CJNG and was involved in various criminal activities, including drug trafficking, money laundering, and violence.
He was arrested in June 2015 on charges related to organized crime and the possession of illegal weapons. After his arrest, he faced legal proceedings and was held in detention.Menchito's arrest was seen as a significant blow to the CJNG, but the organization remains active and a major player in Mexico's drug trade. He is just one of many individuals associated with organized crime in Mexico, where drug cartels and criminal syndicates have been responsible for a wide range of illicit activities and violence.
After his extradition, he allegedly entered into a deal with the feds, however, as time has went on and after a visit from a CJNG linked lawyer, Menchito is singing a completely different tune.
