We confirm our bias by constantly seeking the same information. If the only women we see are the ones on social media seeking validation, then of course we will only see horrible women.
Bad news sells, the news doesn't report the good because people are not interested in that.
We like to make ourselves feel comfortable knowing that other people suck worse than us. It's time to get off our ass go set some standards and surround ourselves with like minded people.
