The CrossFit Open began in 2011. It was CrossFit’s first online competition. Since then, the first stage of the CrossFit Games season has evolved into a three-week global competition, uniting hundreds of thousands of people for fun and friendly competition.
In today’s episode, Boz shares changes to the 2024 Open, highlighting easier-to-read scorecards, the elimination of rigid floor plans, and easier access to equipment. He also describes the challenges and nuances of balancing the programming for the Quarterfinals stage, and the differences between advancing your fitness and testing your fitness.
