In addition to managing her clients, she also volunteers at the Midnight Mission, a resource center for the homeless in Downtown Los Angeles, and she provides pro bono representation of the homeless though the Legal Aid Foundation. In 2007, Julie received her Juris Doctorate degree from Syracuse University, College of Law in New York with a certificate in Global Law and Practice. At Syracuse, she was the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Law and Commerce. Additionally, Julie was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and was the Northeast Regional Champion of a national Moot Court Competition. While receiving her undergraduate degree in 2004 from the University of California, San Diego, Julie double-majored in Political Science and History, and minored in Biology. Due to her high academic achievements in the field of Political Science, she was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, a national Political Science Honor Society, and she graduated in the Top 10 of her class.
