another day to flush the feces of life's bs

how many of you feel like you've been lugging around 1000 pounds of shit

just hammered with rage all day

we've all had those days, weeks, years and lives

the guy at work is an extreme leftists and demands you refer to him byt his pronouns

although his pronouns are he and him and the damn dude is biologically a male

like that what the hell man, are we going in circles or what

your gf decided today was the day for the its me not you text

you just turned 30 and your gut is making it harder to see your manhood

and you can't decide if you're an atheist or a christian

dammit man the dilemmas of life and the weight they carry

how many of us have asked... what's the point and if there is... how do i get there

to go from the one getting shit on to the king of your domain

from the one with no direction to the one of imagination and innovation

im reading nietzsche and he has an interesting take on this

he discusses the metamorphosis from load bearing camel to the free spirited lion to the kid of life affirming beliefs

see the camel wakes up from just seeing the load of life as a duty but instead an opportunity

and not in the way some bullshit life coach would sell it to you

but to go deep into the wilderness and see all that you carry for what it truly is

its man's duty to self reflect and see if what he carries lines up with his core beliefs

see i don't blame anyone else for putting there shit on me, instead i have to ask why the hell am

i choosing to carry something that's not benefiting me

and its in this wisdom that the lion rises

the lion is the free spirit that chooses to capture freedom and all that it offers

the king claims his domain over self, he refuses to accept the neatly packaged narrative of society

suggesting you have to do this, you have to do that,,

instead the king says I WILL do this, I WILL do that...

the lion refuses to follow the prescriptions of a society that only seeks to keep him addicted

instead he goes after a sober minded life free from the propaganda of control and coercion       THIS IS THE OPENING

okay hell yeah thats the aim of man to choose freedom

but when our life is indoctrinated from birth how do we know what direction to follow

which way promises true freedom

nietzsche believes the only way to remove ourselves from illusions and arbitrariness

of modernity's rules and guidelines is to become like a kid

yeah, who would of thought, you say well damn i thought the left hands the kid part down

i suggest they have the temper tantrum down

but the true nature of a kid is innocence, forgetfulness, they don't hold onto the weight of yesterday

they contrast yesterday with the new beginnings of today

everyday becomes a game where they say yes to climbing the highest tree

jumping from the highest cliff

running the fastest and laughing the hardest

the kid is a reminder of what could be

the kid is master of creating

think of all the great things you thought of and imagined as a kid

man, i had so many forts and killed so many imaginary bad guys

and kicked ass like jean claude van damme and rocky balboa

life was good

so we've carried the weight and demand of the world

were tired of YOU HAVE TO DO THIS

were tired of hearing about pronouns

the antidote is to go inward find out who the hell we are

and what we stand for

find that lion king within and harness the kid like imagination to create

life is better than what we've been sold
