Our inspirational guest, Scott Graham, has lived a life full of service to others. He spent time working for a nonprofit organization, but as he rose through the ranks of the company, he realized that the workplace culture was toxic. So, with the assistance of his late husband, he started his own coaching company to support people. He was faced with a series of intense losses in his life, including both of his siblings, his parents, and his husband. He learned the importance of meditation, connecting with nature, and how to be alone. Since then, his work as a life coach has changed countless lives. Tune in to hear how he overcame grief and dedicated himself to serving others.
It may be difficult to know where to start once you’ve decided you want to offer service to others. Volunteering in this day and age can be as simple as picking up your phone and talking a stranger through a crisis they are facing. Sometimes, all they need is someone to listen to them. What’s more, providing other people with aid, whether it be financial, emotional, or otherwise, warms your heart as well. At the end of the day, serving others gives you a chance to live full out.
