The great Martin Luther (not MLK) calls the book of James, "The Epistle of Straw" because he feels it is in direct contradiction to Apostle Pauls teaching on Grace ALONE! But poor Martin didn't realize how perfect a fit James epistle was as a COMPANION to the Pauline letters on Grace. Faith ... without "WORKS"... is truly Dead! The book of James was written to Christian Jews but today we can adopt it to the Pentecostal Church because history seem to be repeating itself and I have seen more Pharisees in todays church than in Bible times.
