Just two regular season games remain for the Mountaineer basketball team.  WVU meets Oklahoma Tuesday night before closing regular season play Saturday at home against TCU.

West Virginia (14-15) will to avenge an early loss to Oklahoma (15-14).  The Sooners rolled over WVU 72-62 last month in Morgantown.

In this episode, the "Guys" recap Saturday's loss to Texas and preview the matchup with the Sooners.

Listener questions and comments complete the show.

EXAMPLE: "I don’t know if the fanbase would relate to flipping the roster year by year. It’s important to him that his team represents the people of West Virginia." RESPONSE: What does that even mean? Look, the argument that the fanbase will have difficulty accepting players from the portal because they are here for one year and gone is not valid and ridiculous. The problem is that none of the players give a damn about West Virginia. They are entering the portal to get better NIL deals (Oscar), refusing to play for fear they might get hurt and damage their pro career (Konate), or opting out early to turn pro (McBride, Culver). Overall, these players could care less about representing West Virginia so why should the fanbase care if the roster flips every year as long as we win. It has been flipping for a long time prior to the portal. Just because you don't want to recruit from the portal doesn't mean that next year your team is going to have a stable roster! Huggs is the coach and if he wants to start all inexperienced players next year including a 6'11, 200 pound center (Federiko) then go right ahead but don't say you are thinking of the fans and the people of West Virginia. Complete garbage. The fanbase can relate to a winning program. That's it. His refusal to aggressively get quality players from the portal could potentially be his WVU career downfall and will ultimately turn the fanbase against him. Its crazy. Just a few thought.
