During this final movie session of the 2018 Tabula Rasa Mystery School, David and Jason share the Jim Carrey movie, "Yes Man." This hilarious comedy is a classic for opening the heart to Spirit. The main character Carl is repressed in all areas of his life and says no to just about everything that might be helpful to him. Through a series of events, he is given a clear directive to say yes to every opportunity presented to him, and although at first, he (the ego) is fearful and resistant, the Spirit shows him that he really does not know his own best interests.

Before long he is experiencing the joy of the miracle from following these prompts. There is momentum as trust builds. As happens with all stepping stones, Carl's world opens up in wonderful ways and the prompt to say yes to everything then becomes maximized. At this point, he needs to learn discernment: knowing when to say yes and when to say no. Discernment helps the heart open up to new possibilities and to go all the way with awakening!
