Gabby & Reka speak several of the fabulously talented student filmmakers who were winners and runners-up in the 2022 Re-generation International Youth Film Festival’s Short Film Competition - Sean Pivac and Alex Clendon from ‘Kamo High School’ in New Zealand, who’s amazing film ‘Change is Now’ was the winner of the animated short film category. Then the team are joined in the studio by ‘Spensley Street Primary’ year 4 students, Mobius Moorman and Luca Marcoux-McCaffrey and on the line by Robert Moorman, to discuss their fabulous winning live action film ‘The Power of 5’. To wrap up the show year 11 student Sarah Jiang and year 10 student Sophia Reed from Tara Anglican School for Girls in New South Wales talk about their films ‘Availability and Water Sanitation for All’ and ‘Building the Future’, which were the runners up in both categories.

The inaugural RE-GENERATION INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FILM FEST was a School Broadcasting Network collaboration with Los Angeles International Children's Film Festival, which was held at the Melbourne Immigration Museum on Friday 12 August 22 as part of the RE-GENERATION YOUTH FESTIVAL hosted by Moral Fairground.
