7 SEP. 2021 · On this episode, we talked with our close community partner, Chenel VandenBerk, a sexual assault nurse examiner here in Lake County. We work very closely with Chenel to support survivors throughout their medical exams, although this has been virtual lately due to the pandemic. Listen in as we talk about anatomy and frequently asked questions when it comes to sexual assault, answered by a nurse who works solely with survivors.

We are so excited to be joined today by two community partners who work to provide support and services for the LGBTQIA community, Megan Sayre from Sayre Counseling and Rev. Nicole Farley, PFLAG Grayslake/Round Lake Chapter.
