8 ABR. 2020 · This episode focuses a lot on an abusive partner I had and how when they say you never think it will happen to you, is a true statement. You always think that when you’re not in that situation you know EXACTLY how you would act in that situation. Truth is, you never really know until you ARE in that situation. So many different emotions running through your mind & body that it’s hard to know what’s the right way to approach the situation. It is hard to leave even when you know you should because I believe fear plays a huge factor into that. I know first hand how fear will overpower your strength in an abusive relationship. Notice the red flags, and leave. It’s okay to love yourself enough to walk away and not look back!
